In group one, they presented chapters one through four. In chapter one we had Jessenia, Rem, and Jaely which they all split. All of them did very well on their first presentation. Jessnia was the first one up and she spoke about Speaking Excites. What's the worst case scenario? Why study public speaking? Do people really speak anymore? Next up was Rem, who spoke about the seven components of the communication process which are Souce, Receiver, Message, Channel, Feedback, Situation and Noise. He also spoke about “Why is public speaking a unique form of communication?” and ”What topics should you talk about?”. Finally, Jaely finished off chapter one with “What should you avoid in a presentation?”, “Becoming an effective speaker”, “Listening” and “How to reduce your fear of Presentation”.
